BARCELONA, SPAIN — After Yuki Tsunoda’s mystifying P20 qualifying performance for the Spanish Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing has officially denied the existence of a second car or any driver not named Max Verstappen.

“There is no second Red Bull,” said a visibly annoyed Christian Horner, flipping through the team roster with exaggerated confusion. “We keep hearing this name — ‘Yuki’? Sounds made up. We’ve asked around. No one in Milton Keynes has seen him.”

Tsunoda, reportedly wearing full Oracle-branded gear and sitting in what appeared to be a Formula 1 car this morning, insisted he did in fact participate in qualifying. “I did a pretty good lap,” Tsunoda told reporters, gesturing toward a large blue, yellow and red vehicle with his name on it. “There was a steering wheel. There were tires. I think it was real.”

When pressed further, Horner elaborated: “Look, the results speak for themselves. Max qualified third in the Red Bull. That’s the only entry we’re aware of. If someone else came in 20th, that’s between them and their team — assuming they have one.”

The FIA has announced it will look into the matter, with a spokesperson confirming they are reviewing whether fielding a single car violates any current sporting regulations.
