After securing its third consecutive Le Mans 24 Hours win, with the No. 83 Ferrari 499P driven by Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye, and Phil Hanson edging out Porsche by just 14 seconds, Ferrari’s F1 division has conceded that its real strength only emerges after roughly 1,440 minutes of hard racing.
“We’ve reviewed the data,” said a Ferrari spokesperson. “It’s clear. Our cars become exponentially more competitive after the 12th hour, provided there’s at least one driver change and a comfortable place to take a nap.”
With Le Mans glory still fresh, the F1 team is reportedly lobbying the FIA to adopt endurance-friendly policies, including rolling starts and the ability to pit for fresh drivers when Charles or Lewis get sad.
